What we cover
The types of home we can help with
If you bought any of these from a holiday park or site operator, you may be able to have how it was sold to you reviewed — free, and with no obligation.

Holiday homes
Bought a holiday home you were told would hold its value or pay for itself? You may have been misled.

Static caravans
Rising site fees, blocked sales or promises that never materialised could point to a mis-sale.

Holiday lodges
Lodges are often sold on letting income projections. If yours never came close, it is worth a check.

Park homes
Residential park homes are covered by different law. We can talk you through your rights.
In your own words
Does any of this sound familiar?
Pitch fees kept climbing
The pitch fees have risen far beyond anything that was indicated to me when I bought.
Obstacles when selling
When I wanted to sell, the park put obstacles in the way or told me they had to handle it.
Pushed to move home
I was pushed towards moving into a newer home on the park.
Charges never mentioned
Charges appeared that were never mentioned when I bought.
It lost its value
I was told the home would hold its value, and it clearly has not.
Paperwork never provided
I was not given the written statement or information I should have had before buying.
If one or more of these matches your experience, it may be worth having your position looked at. It does not mean you definitely have a case.

How it works
Check my eligibilityStep 1: Free eligibility check
Answer five short questions online, or ring us and we will go through them with you on the phone.
Step 2: A call with a specialist
Someone reviews what you were told when you bought and what has happened since, and explains the rights that residential park home owners have.
Step 3: Passed to a regulated firm
If there may be something to pursue, your details are passed to Harwood Rylance Legal LLP, who advise you from there. Timescales depend entirely on the case, and nobody can promise you a date.

Who you are dealing with
Who we are
You will speak to a person, on a landline, in an office in Scotland.
We gather your details, talk through what you were told when you bought, and, with your permission, pass your enquiry to a regulated firm. We do not give legal advice and we do not handle claims ourselves.
Claims are handled by our specialist claims team.
Plain numbers
What it costs
The eligibility check and the call with a specialist are free. You are never charged by us.
If Harwood Rylance Legal LLP take your matter on and it is suitable for a no-win, no-fee arrangement, you pay them nothing if it is unsuccessful.
Where a success fee applies, it is 30% of any compensation recovered, plus VAT.
A worked example: if £10,000 were recovered, the success fee would be £3,000 plus VAT of £600, so £6,400 would be paid to you. Your own figures will differ, and this example is not a prediction of any outcome.
Some park home matters are advice rather than compensation. If that is the case for you, you will be told plainly, and any fee would be agreed in writing first.
Good to know
Questions people ask
Is there a time limit?
Often, yes. Time limits generally run from when you bought, or from when you could reasonably have realised something was wrong. They are not always obvious, so it is worth asking even if you bought years ago.
Do I have to go to court?
Residential park home disputes are frequently dealt with by tribunal or by agreement rather than a court hearing. If a hearing were needed, it would be explained to you in advance and the decision would be yours.
What if I still own it?
You can still ask for your position to be reviewed while you live in the home. Most people who contact us still do.
What if I've already sold it?
You may still be able to raise a matter after selling, including where you sold at a loss or sold back to the site owner. Keep whatever sale paperwork you have.
Will the park find out?
We do not contact your park. If something is formally pursued, the site owner would eventually be notified — you would be told before anything is sent.
What if I bought it on finance?
Finance can be relevant, particularly where a loan was arranged through the site owner or a connected broker. Mention it when you speak to someone.
How long does it take?
It depends entirely on the matter and on how the site owner responds. Some are resolved in months, others take longer. A firm timescale given before anyone has read your paperwork is not a reliable one.
What if I don't have my paperwork?
That is very common. The written statement, pitch agreement and any finance documents can often be requested again. Bring whatever you do have.
Where to start
Not sure where you stand?
The check takes a few minutes and costs nothing. If you would rather talk it through with a person, that is often easier.
Free to check. No obligation. No cold calling.
